This is quite a versatile light. The magnet is good, charging cable short, 20 cm. Solar charging is indicated by a red light. It comes on even under pretty weak sunlight. Haven't tested the efficiency of solar charging yet. Charging by cable takes 2 hours and battery capacity is as stated, 650 mAh.
